New This Sale For Returning Consignors

For returning consignors, here’s a recap of changes and additions to the sale this season.  The newest changes are at the top of the list. For those of you new to Just4Kids, please read carefully through all of the instructions under the consignor tab.

  • There is a change to the earnings scale, so please go onto the Volunteer page to read all of the details. Base pay is 60% for consignors who do not volunteer, and now goes up as high as 80%. You can now earn a pay bump with just one 4 hour shift!
  • IF you are registering for the April sale, be sure to follow the links to April sale registration. You may register as a returning consignor, but please email me BEFORE you work on any inventory! Your INACTIVE inventory from previous sales is on the March sale account and I need to transfer it over for you, before you start adding items for this sale.
  • Consignors are now responsible for placing their clothing out on the racks once they have been inspected. Please be sure to allow enough time during drop-off for this.
  • We will no longer be accepting magnetic play sets (the kind with the small magnetic balls and rods).
  • Drop-off will be on Tuesday, not on Wednesday as it usually is.
  • The inventory system will shut down at 9PM on the SUNDAY before the sale (NOT Tuesday!). Sorry, but we really need the time to get the computers ready for the sale.

What was new in 2011:

  • We now ask that consignors bring us a business size (#10) self-addressed stamped envelope with you on drop-off day so we can mail you your check. Consignors NOT leaving us an envelope will have $1 deducted from their check.
  • Just4Kids will no longer be holding a consignor referral drawing for $100, effective November 2011.
  • We will no longer be accepting cribs of any kind, or sleep positioners for safety reasons.
  • We will no longer be accepting hangers that are bundled together as one item. There is a MAXIMUM OF 3 coordinating pieces that can be grouped together on one hanger with one tag, and they should be secured together with safety pins. The ONLY exception are the pants hangers with clips that loop over the neck of a shirt hanger to make a set. DO NOT rubber band hangers together as one item, they will not be accepted into the sale.
  • There is now a limit of 10 pair of shoes per consignor. Worn looking shoes DO NOT SELL, so please don’t waste time tagging them.
  • Clothing attached to the hanger with clothes pins will NOT be accepted!
  • Pick-up will no longer be on Sunday evening.  Any unsold items can be picked up on Monday from 3-7.
  • Volunteer 1/2 price sale will now be on Sunday morning from 9-10 am.
  • There is still a hanging clothing limit of 100 pieces, which now includes a limit of 25 pieces TOTAL of sizes newborn through 12 months.
